Stand-up comedian well known for his hosting duties on a number of TV3 network television shows including Roll The Dai and Dai's Protege. He has recorded DVDs by the names of Dai Another Day and Adapt or Dai. He would also star in 7 Days and Family Feud.

Before Fame

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in eastern religions from Victoria University of Wellington where he studied theater and film.


His was named Best New Face on TV2's Pulp Comedy, and has been the recipient of numerous New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards.

Family Life

He was born in Wellington, New Zealand to parents Ray and Carolyn Henwood. His great grandfather was rugby player Dick Jones. He and wife Joanna Kelly have both a son and daughter.
