About

Conservation photographer known for her work in polar regions in the Arctic and her wildlife photography of different animals. She has been published by National Geographic, BBC Wildlife and Canadian Geographic and shares her nature driven photos through Instagram for her over 420,000 followers. 

Before Fame

She first began pursuing her passion in photography in 1989 after a trip to India. In 1997, she began photographing the polar regions of Antarctica.

Trivia

She has won several awards for her photography including BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Natures Best. She was also selected in April of 2010 to be on the jury of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year award. 

Family Life

She was born in Switzerland but has been based in British Columbia, Canada.
