At the age of fourteen, he won the annual German Breakdance Championships. Around the same time, he began working as both a disc jockey and a graffiti artist.
He helped write and produce Tokio Hotel's 2005 hit "Monsoon" and won an MTV Latin Music Award for his work on the popular track.
A native of Hamburg, Germany, he later lived and worked in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.
He contributed to the soundtrack of director Tim Burton's 2010 film version of Alice in Wonderland.
