A twentieth-century American author, he is best known for his novels featuring American hero Mack Bolan ("The Executioner"). He also wrote the Joe Copp, Private Eye and Ashton Ford, Psychic Detective series.
After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he worked as a telegrapher for the Southern Pacific Railroad.
He published fifteen novels in the famous Executioner series.
He married Linda Pendleton and collaborated with her on several literary works.
