Mexican chef, recipe developer, and food photographer best known as the founder of Dora's Table, a platform focused on vegan Mexican cuisine. She also shares original recipes on her dorastable Instagram account and dorastable TikTok account. She partnered with the Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine to develop their app and also contributed to the book The Vegan Starter Kit by Dr. Neal Barnard.
Before fame
She studied at the Culinary Institute of America in New York and worked in the culinary and restaurant industries before launching her brand.
Trivia
She went on to adopt a vegan lifestyle after deciding to focus more on health and wellness. She authored the cookbook Vegan Tamales Unwrapped. She also released the cookbook Comida Casera, which features more than 100 plant-based Mexican recipes.
Family life
She has said that her mother's type 2 diabetes diagnosis inspired her to focus on healthier cooking.
