Eduardo Scarpetta

Italian actor who is best known for his roles in The King of Laughter, Gionatan with a G and Carosello Carosone. He also starred in the television series The Lions of Sicily and The Ignorant Angels.

Before Fame

At the age of 9, he made his theatrical debut in the play Felicello and Felicella. He graduated from a liceo classico in Naples. He also studied acting at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.

Trivia

In 2022, he won the David di Donatello for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of his great-grandfather, Vincenzo Scarpetta, in The King of Laughter. 

Family Life

He is the son of actors Mario Scarpetta and Maria Basile. His great-great-grandfather is the Italian actor and playwright Eduardo Scarpetta.
