Greek chess Grandmaster and author who is known as one of the greatest Greek chess players of all time.
He grew up in Athens, Greece and became a local chess celebrity at a very young age.
He is the only Greek master ever to win a Chess Olympic medal and he has written over forty chess books, essays and studies, that are used as the basis for teaching hundreds of new chess players.
He lived with his family in the Greek capital of Athens.
During his active years he was a contemporary of Andrei Sokolov.
