Before Fame

She grew up playing hockey. She attended the Georgia Institute of Technology for her undergrad and the Brown University School of Engineering with a PhD in engineering. 

Trivia

She is an athlete who works as a hockey official for the NCAA DI Hockey East. Before that she worked as a USA Hockey Official for the junior division for 10 years. She was the first openly autistic person to play on Survivor.

Family Life

She is from St. Paul, Minnesota, but was raised in Eagan. She grew up with a sister. She was diagnosed with autism as a kid, but her parents found supportive therapies to help her thrive.
