Most well known for becoming the CEO of Estée Lauder in 2009. He joined the company in 2008 after two decades working with Procter & Gamble, ending his time there as the President of the Global Snacks division.
He graduated from University of Naples Federico II in 1981, earning a degree in economics and business administration.
He has served on the board of directors for a number of institutes including BlackRock, Inc. and Georgetown University's Global Business Initiative.
Growing up in Naples, his father, Domenico, ran a global construction company. He and his wife Mary-Ann have a son and a daughter.
