About

Haitian DJ and music producer, also known by the alias "Emvafaya," who founded the music label Deep Root Records and became distinguished for his unique blend of Afro and melodic, house sounds. He has performed on notable stages including Marquee, Webster Hall, Pacha, and Nebula as well as venues and events around the globe. Some of his most acclaimed tracks include "Premier Gaou," "Sauti," "Kamili," and "Sete." Another notable aspect of his discography is his "New York State of House" album series, which comprises a "Sunset Edition" and a "Midnight Edition," both of which were released in 2021.

Before Fame

He launched his official music career in 2013 with the release of his debut single, "Fly Peace" alongside collaborator Dean Mickoski, with whom he also joined forces for the release of his second single, "Out of My Mind," in 2015.
