Before Fame

She grew up playing with her three brothers. She then played for a boys team until she was 13. Shortly after turning 16, she moved away from her hometown of Barrow-in-Furness to enter into the youth system for the Blackburn Rovers.

Trivia

Her favorite pre-game food is Heinz beans on toast. In 2016, she was nominated for BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year. Winners of the award have included Ellie Downie and Sky Brown. After being nominated as Professional Footballers' Association Women's Young Player of the Year in 2017, she won the top honor in 2019. 

Family Life

She has an Alan Shearer Match Attax trading card from 2006. She collected them as a kid, and Shearer was her grandmother's favorite player.
