French singer who gained notoriety as the winner of the reality singing competition "Star Academy France". He sold one million albums in his native France before dying at the young age of 23.
He was diagnosed with the genetic disorder cystic fibrosis at twenty months old.
His posthumous album "La Voix D'un Ange" was released in 2007.
Following his death, his family founded the Association Gregory Lemarchal charity group, meant to help children suffering from cystic fibrosis.
He and Sofia Essaidi, known for singles like "Roxanne", both participated in "Star Academy France".
