Colombian fashion designer most well known for his ready-to-wear menswear collections. He created his self-titled label in 2001 and has since dressed celebrities like Tilda Swinton, Kanye West, and Penelope Cruz.

Before Fame

Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent, in 1994 he began studying at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.

Trivia

In 2004, he won a Swiss Textiles Award.

Family Life

At nine months old, he was adopted by a French Alsatian family. His father is a mapmaker and he grew up in nations like Ethiopia, Chad, and Nigeria, before eventually settling in the Netherlands.
