Before Fame
He originally started his career in music by playing guitar for Erkin Koray. He then started playing bass for several jazz bands before producing and releasing the breakthrough album Beni Affet in 1992.

He is also known for his work as an actor and starred as Hursit Van Beethoven in the 2012 series Dirty Seven.

He was born and raised in Istanbul and is the son of Turkish actor Esref Kolcak.
