French football coach, manager, and former professional player. He is known for his work with the Morocco national team. He is also known for becoming the first coach to win two Africa Cup of Nations with two different countries. 

Before Fame

His career in football began with him playing as a defender for French club AS Cannes in 1983. His coaching career then began in 1999 with the club SC Draguignan. In May of 2008, he was appointed manager of the Zambia national team. In February of 2016, he began working with the Morocco national team. 


He has won several honors and awards as a manager including the Africa Cup of Nations in 2012 as part of the Zambia club and the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015 with the Ivory Coast club.
