Music producer who works at Dr. Dre's record label Aftermath Entertainment, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. He is also a rapper in his own right and has released his albums Hi-Teknology 1, 2, and 3.

Before Fame

He started his music career with a hip hop group called Mood. Kweli was featured on one of their songs and the two of them hit it off immediately and formed Reflection Eternal. They released their debut album Train of Thought in 2000.

Trivia

He is also known for his collaborations with rapper Talib Kweli, under the name Reflection Eternal, and for producing the album Kweli made with Mos Def in 1998 called Black Star.

Family Life

He was born Tony Cottrell and has been based in Ohio. He has three sons with his wife.
