Jamaican reggae, dancehall, and R&B singer and songwriter known for her soulful vocals and her songs including "Hard Way," "Fly Away," "Good Up," "These Tears," "Ugly Girl," "Mi General," and "Nosey Neighbour."

Before fame

She started singing at an early age. She attended Wolmer's High School for Girls and studied at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts School of Music. Her early breakthrough came when she appeared on Capleton's song "Fire" / "Fire Whoa" in the early 2000s.

Trivia

She won the Stone Love Award for Female Artiste of the Year in 2010. Her song "Hard Way" became one of her signature tracks in 2010 when its music video reached No. 1 on the Video Alley chart and earned her the MIA Music Industry Award for Best Video of the Year.

Family life

She was born Kadian Blair in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in Waterhouse in St. Andrew, Jamaica. She is the daughter of former Waterhouse soccer player Hugh Blair.
