Singer known for her time as a member of the group Flans, who rose to prominence in the 1980s with their albums Luz y Sombra, 20 Millas, and Adios. After the group disbanded in 1990, she proceeded to embark on a solo career.
She studied at Universidad Anáhuac before joining Flans when she was 20 years old.
She appeared on the show Maria Isabel in 1997 and has worked as a TV host on various shows. She and Flans have reunited for tours in 1999 and 2005.
She was born to Oscar Oliva and Ilse Schweinfurth in Venezuela, but became a Mexican citizen when she was 18. She has two sons.
She appeared alongside Adela Noriega during her time on Maria Isabel.
