Hall of Fame NFL defensive end who played 14 seasons with the Los Angeles Rams.
He was an offensive lineman and linebacker at Monticello-Jefferson County High School, where he was All-State after recording 70 tackles.
He played the entire 1979 playoffs for the Rams with a broken fibula.
His parents, Herbert J. and Kay Youngblood, also had two daughters, Paula and Lynn.
He appeared in two made-for-television films in the 1980s; both were directed by The Exorcist director, William Friedkin.
