Pakistani business magnate and politician who is known for having served as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan as well as Federal Minister for Industries and Production. He is also known for being a chairman of the JDW group. 

Before Fame

He attended Forman Christian College in Lahore as well as the University of North Carolina where he earned his masters in business. He first started his political career in 2002 when he served as a special adviser on agriculture and social sector initiatives. 


He is also known for owning and operating some of the largest sugar mills in Pakistan which he inhereted from his father-in-law Makhdoom Hasan Mehmood. 

Family Life

His sister Seemi Ezdi is a member of the Pakistan Senate.

He served under President Pervez Musharraf when he worked as a Federal Minister for Industries and Production in 2004.
