Singer also known as Pearl who became a South African music sensation with singles like "Tens Sorte," "Ninguém" and "Já Não Sou Criança." Prior to her solo career, she was a member of the group Earth Girls.
She and her family moved to Luanda because of the Angolan Civil War when she was 9 years old. She later studied law at the University of Pretoria.
She won the KORA Award for Best Female Artist of Southern Africa in 2005.
Her father, Her father, Manuel Sassingui, was a member of the musical group Stars of the South. She married Sérgio Neto and has a daughter named Valentine.
