Professional baseball outfielder for the New York Yankees. He made his MLB debut in 2023. He joined the major leagues as a Yankee player on September 1st, 2023. He became the youngest player in team history to hit a home run in his major league debut against the Astros in September 2023. 

Before Fame

He began training for a career in baseball at eight years old. He played as a catcher before he transitioned into playing as a center fielder. He was ranked as the top prospect eligible to sign with an MLB team in the 2019-2020 international class of baseball players. He signed with the Yankees on July 2, 2019. He did not end up playing for the 2020 season because the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He trained in Santiago instead and came back to play as a non-roster player until getting officially promoted to the major leagues in 2023.

Trivia

His player nickname El Marciano (aka the Martian) was coined during training when someone referred to him as this because his talent was not of this world. He has earned more than 200,000 followers on Instagram. 

Family Life

He was born in Esperanza in the Dominican Republic to parents Felíx Domínguez and Dorca González. He is the second oldest of six children. His father was a former MLB Yankees baseball player.
