Television presenter from the 1990's shows Australia's Funniest Home Video Show, Hey Hey It's Saturday and What's Up Doc? who would later serving hosting duties on StarStruck and Dirty Jobs. She would compete on the reality shows Dancing with the Stars in 2010 and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2016.
She was singing from the age of five, and began a professional career in entertainment on the show Perth's Young Entertainers when she was 13. She joined a band called Street Cafe in 1988.
She released her debut album called 99 Reasons while living in New York, and would move back to Australia where she released her debut single of the same title as the album.
She was married to guitarist Jamie Jardine from 1992 to 1997 before marrying tennis player Thomas Muster with whom she had a son named Christian. They divorced in 2005 and she later dated Sullivan Stapleton for about one year.
She was signed to Melodian Records by Molly Meldrum who suggested to Jo that she change her name from Joanne to Jo Beth.
