Also known as Joe Cleezy, he is a stand up comedian and radio host who is best recognized for being the morning host of The Joe Clair Morning Show on WPGC-FM in Washington, DC. He is also known for having hosted the BET original series Rap City from 1994 until 1999.
Before Fame
He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. He started gaining attention in the early 1990's when he worked for the BET network. He eventually moved up and hosted the program Rap City for them in 1994.

He is also known for having participated in the stand-up comedy shows Def Comedy Jam and ComicView.

He was born and raised in Seat Pleasant, Maryland, a suburb just outside of Washington DC.
