Before Fame
He grew up with a love for music. He attended Garfield High School and participated in the school's marching band. His transition to soul music happened after performing Otis Redding's "These Arms of Mine" at a friend's comedy show. He received a very positive reception and inspired him to pursue singing more seriously. He was a member of The Steady 45s before he joined with the Thee Sinseers. He and the Thee Sinseers released the song "Seems Like" in 2019 which went viral and helped boost their career. He and the Thee Sinseers released their debut full-length album Sinseerly Yours in March 2024.
