Retired Canadian-Australian all-rounder who became one of the best cricketers in Canada's national team history during his career. He finished his career in the Top 5 in all-time ODI runs and wickets for his country.
He grew up in Australia, where he honed his skills at the Australian Cricket Academy. He also spent time playing for the Victoria state squad.
He played in the 2003 and 2007 cricket World Cups with Canada. In 2003, he set a since-broken record for fastest century, reaching 100 on 67, finishing with 111 on 76.
He was born in Canada to Australian parents who were on a teaching exchange program, and he thus spent his youth in Australia.
After his playing days, he became a spin coach, and is most notable for his work helping superstar bowler Nathan Lyon.
