Known for his prolific collegiate wrestling career as a member of the Oklahoma State Cowboys' program. He was a 4-time All-American while a student-athlete there. His senior 2012-2013 season ended with a 38-0 record and NCAA championship in the 149 pound division.
He graduated from Easton High School in Pennsylvania, where he was a 3-time state champion in wrestling. He finished his high school career with a 175-5 overall record.
He finished in 3rd at the World Junior Championships in 2009. He began training with USA Wrestling in 2014, and in 2015, became the 2nd ranked wrestler at 143 pounds.
He was born and raised in Easton, Pennsylvania.
He won the Dave Schultz Memorial International championship in 2015.
