Before Fame
He moved from Puerto Rico to Miami in 1998 where he enrolled at Johnson & Wales University where he earned his bachelors degree in Culinary Arts. In 2001, he went on to open up Nobu Miami and Nobu London in 2002. In 2003, he traveled to Spain to work for chef Jesus Ramiro in Valladolid.
