Best known for her appearance during the 1990s as a "[Bob] Barker's Beauty" on The Price is Right, she was the first model of African descent to work as a model and assistant on the popular game show.
After earning the 1971 Miss Black California title, she performed with a disco music group called Destination.
In 2014, she released a memoir titled Backstage at The Price Is Right: Memoirs of a Barker Beauty.
Following her divorce from actor and screenwriter Bill Overton, she married and had a child with Terrence Redd.
She was fired from The Price is Right after she testified against series host Bob Barker in a lawsuit filed by fellow Barker's Beauty Holly Hallstrom.
