Before Fame

He was born into a musical family as his father is a clarinetist, and his mother is a pianist. Likewise, his grandfather was both a prestigious musician and educator. He began his own musical training at an early age, including lessons on guitar and vocals during childhood. He first stepped into the public eye with his appearance on the Ukrainian television show Holos Krainy ("The Voice of the Country"), where he was declared a finalist.

Trivia

He released his debut album, "Музика (Muzyka)," in 2018. He has competed in the Ukraine Eurovision national selection on several occasions including once in 2018 with the song "Waiting" and again in 2019 with the song "2 dni" ("2 days"). He wrote the song "Stop the War" in response to the war in his home country.

Family Life

His real name is Vlad Karashchuk. He is the son of clarinetist Andriy Karashchuk and pianist/teacher Anzhelika Karashchuk. At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, he was forced to relocate with his family from their hometown in Kyiv to Lviv.

In 2018, he competed against fellow contestants Nick Melovin and Tayanna in the Ukrainian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.
