Before fame
She worked as a programmer before leaving her corporate job to pursue art full-time. She established Mirrors by Lina in 2020 after creating a disco mirror that inspired her to begin making more.
Trivia
She created a disco shark for the Framework stage at Coachella in 2023. She has also made a five-foot disco ball for Hans Zimmer's 2024 tour, a four-foot dinosaur for TwitchCon 2024, and a disco Mustang for the 2024 Stagecoach Festival. She created a disco ball mural using 5,000 mirrors in 2026.
Family life
She briefly lived in Jordan and spent much of her childhood in Sweden before moving to the United States. Her sister Lana inspired her to start her business.
