She moved to the United States in 2001. She attended California State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. She began her career hosting MLB's Los Angeles Angels weekly television show Angels in Action. She worked as a news reporter in New York City in 2010.

She became the first female sports anchor for the local Univision channel KMEX in 2008. She won an Emmy award for her journalism work. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She has a younger brother. She developed a love of sports because of her dad. She married married Miguel Angel Garcia in 2018. They have two children together, Mikele Antonio and Massimo Alessandro.
