She joined the quartet at the age of nine and became the lead singer at the age of 12.
She was nominated for Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year, Quartet of the Year and Traditional Group of the Year at the 30th annual Stellar Awards.
She was born Alescia Nicole Knowles in Memphis, Tennessee, but is better known by her stage name Lisa Knowles.
She and Coko were both lead singers of known gospel groups.
