Before Fame

She was born Lumidee Cedeno in East Harlem, New York, and began collaborating with local producer DJ Tedsmooth after high school.

Trivia

Her single "Dance!" was recorded for the 2006 FIFA World Cup album. In 2021 she released her third album, titled 10 13.

Family Life

She and her siblings were raised by their grandparents after the death of her father in 1995.
