Notable for his work with both the AHL team the Hartford Wolf Pack and the NHL team the New York Rangers, this Canadian ice hockey goaltender was a sixth round NHL draftee in 2013.
He played his youth career for the Western Hockey League team the Kootenay Ice. Though his career was temporarily put on hold when he was seriously injured in a bus accident at the age of fifteen, he eventually medaled for his native Canada at the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge of 2011.
He played briefly for the South Carolina ECHL team the Greenville Road Warriors.
He was born and raised in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.
He began playing for the Rangers after goaltender Henrik Lundqvist suffered an injury.
