Chef and owner of San Diego restaurant Urban Solace, Gordon focuses on using organic and sustainable ingredients in his meals.
He has worked in many kitchens throughout California, including Willi's Seafood and Raw Bar in Healdsburg and Scott's Seafood in Silicon Valley.
In 2013 he opened the brasserie restaurant Sea and Smoke in Del Mar, California. He was so inspired by the space of the restaurant that he wrote the menu before they signed a lease.
Gordon married and became a father who committed to raising his children on a diet free of artificial ingredients.
He and Joel Robuchon both carved out a career as chefs.
