Swimmer known for representing Australia in the Olympics. She won gold medals in the 4x100 relay in the 2008 games and the 4x200 in London in 2012.
She attended the University of Queensland and graduated with a degree in biomedical science. She first competed for Australia in 2006.
She was forced to retire in 2009 after a bout with cytomegalovirus, but was able to return to swimming nearly a year later.
She was born to Paul and Linda. She has a sister named Nikki and a brother named Adam. In 2014, she married fellow Australian swimmer Chris Wright, at which point she changed her name from Schlanger.
She and Cate Campbell both swam for Australia in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
