Puerto Rican reggaeton producer and performer best known as part of the urban music duo Musicólogo & Menes, also known as Los de la Nazza, which became active around the mid-2000s. Alongside partner Eliezer "Musicólogo" García, he has produced major hits within the Latin urban scene including charting songs like "Grito Mundial" and "La Despedida." He is widely recognized for his extensive collaboration with Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee and reggaeton artists such as Justin Quiles and Kendo Kaponi.
Before fame
He relocated from his hometown in Caguas, Puerto Rico to Florida with his family when he was eleven years old. He gained early exposure to music production by working with experienced producer Echo before teaming up with Musicólogo in a San Juan recording studio in 2005.
Trivia
He received a Lo Nuestro Award nomination for Urban Album of the Year for the 2014 album "El Imperio Nazza: J Álvarez Edition." Several of the tracks he produced topped US Latin or Tropical music charts, including "Lovumba" and "Si El Mundo Se Acabara."
