Philanthropist and business man best known as the creator of the #WHYiGive Twitter movement. Through his philanthropic movement, he's gained a following of more than 150,000 on Twitter and he launched The Michael Chatman Foundation.
He earned his bachelors from Missouri State University followed by his masters in philanthropy from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. He also completed Harvard Business School's Social Entrepreneurship Program.
He has authored a number of books, including The Next Celebrity Humanitarian, Maverick Philanthrophy, and Next Generation Philanthropy.
He was the child of a single mother growing up.
Both he and Mavis Leno are renowned philanthropists.
