Before fame

He began releasing music in 2001 with the album Dass Tere Picche Kyon Mariye and followed this with the album Ishq Jagaave. He released his first breakout song "Dil Ditta Nahin Si" in 2005. He released one of his bigger hit songs "Taareyan Di Loe" in 2012. He began sharing content on Instagram in 2016. He experienced a revival in popularity when he released "Tere Bare About You" in 2021.

His full name is Nachhatar Singh Gill. He was born and raised in Punjab, India, in a Sikh family deeply connected to music and devotion. His father was a Sikh devotional singer.
