Prior to her career in the U.S., she was the host of three national variety TV and radio shows in Honduras.
She narrated the 9/11 terrorist attacks minute by minute live until the first tower collapsed in 2001.
She was born in Honduras. She emigrated to the U.S. in 1987 where she began working with Telemundo Network. She is mother to twins named Ali and Abito.
She used to work at Telemundo with fellow Emmy-award winning anchor Jose Diaz-Balart.
