Most famous as Sheila in the ABC comedy series Soap and as Marya in the CBS sitcom Hogan's Heroes, this New York-born actress earned a 1968 Emmy nomination for her work in the latter show. Her other television credits include the roles of Judy Evans and Rose Casey in, respectively, ABC's Here We Go Again and NBC's Supertrain.

Before Fame

Early in her career, she had a small role in the 1949 Doris Day musical movie It's a Great Feeling.


Though she appeared in the pilot episode of CBS's Funny Face, she was dropped from the series' cast roster after the show's format was revised.

Family Life

She was born Anita Sokol in New York City. Her marriage to Thomas Geas ended in divorce.

She co-starred with Larry Blyden in the 1950s series Joe and Mabel.
