She is also one-third of the musical group Ghetto Sage with fellow rappers Smino and SABA. She released her debut album, 'Room 25' in 2018.

Her real name is Fatimah Warner. She grew up in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood. Her grandparents raised her until she was in middle school. Her mother Desiree Sanders, also opened a Afrocentric Bookstore in Chicago in June of 1990.
