His mother, Laurie Luebbers, had a passion for Irish culture and traditional step dancing. She passed this love onto him and his two siblings, Cassidy and Ian. Laurie Luebbers was a civil engineer with a degree from Villanova University. Luebbers and his brother were homeschooled, and their sister returned to traditional school in high school after also being homeschooled for many years.
