Before Fame
In elementary school, he learned to play the violin and was a part of the school orchestra. Then, at age thirteen, he started learning to play the guitar. That same year he began writing his own music.

He is the owner of his own music label, PYM Music, where he has released his original albums and EPs.
Family Life
During summers growing up, he worked on a cattle ranch with his grandfather. He married Hallie Ray Light in the spring of 2022.
