Italian actor, comedian, writer, musician, and former cartoonist known for being one half of the long-running comedy duo Lillo & Greg with Claudio Gregori along with his work in the screen projects Gli idoli delle donne, D.N.A.- Decisamente non adatti, Cineuropa Colpi di fulmine, Colpi di fortuna, Un Natale stupefacente, and Lillo e Greg - The Movie! Before Fame
He originally worked as a cartoonist. He met future partner Claudio Gregori when both were drawing comics for the Rome-based publisher ACME in 1986. He and Claudio Gregori formed the comedy duo Lillo & Greg in 1991. They launched the radio show 610 - Sei Uno Zero on Rai Radio 2 in 2003. He began his involvement in films and movies in the 2010s. His streaming break came in 2021 with LOL: Chi ride è fuori and Sono Lillo.
Trivia
He drew the spooky humor strip Zio Tibia with writer Michelangelo La Neve during his time as a professional cartoonist. He has appeared in a long list of holiday season ensemble comedies that Italian audiences rewatch yearly. His show Sono Lillo is partially autobiographical.
