Before Fame

He graduated from Western Maryland College with a BA in jazz studies and theatre. He also earned a BFA from Brown University.

He is also an accomplished composer and musician. He has worked with the NYC-based Hickory Collective to supply music for video games, TV, commercials and radio.

Family Life

He moved to America with his parents and three siblings from South Africa in 1985. He is married to theater actress Helen Cespedes. They have resided in Manhattan.
