South African actor, singer-songwriter, rapper, and filmmaker who cultivated a loyal following for his original work across a variety of genres. He is also known as the son of music legend Ringo Madlingozi. He began focusing full-time on his music career after he won a 2018 Golden Horn Award (SAFTA) for Best Achievement in Original Music/Score, for his work on the television drama Isikizi.
Before Fame
He was initially raised by his grandmother in Gqeberha before he relocated back to Johannesburg to live alongside his siblings and father when he was 14 years old. He studied film and television production at City Varsity and attended SABC, where he pursued media studies. He went on to earn his breakout acting role in the second season of the television drama series Intersexions.
Trivia
In 2015, he competed on the reality talent show Idols SA, where he finished among the Top 16 contestants. He starred as Ntando Mxenge on the telenovela series Gqeberha: The Empire before he stepped back from acting in 2024 to focus on his music career fulltime.
