American rapper formerly known by the stage name "Reign Man" who rose to prominence when he became a finalist on the MTV reality show Making the Band 2 and was declared the winner of MTV's MC Battle, winning a deal with Def Jam Records. He is known for his substantial discography, including the release of multiple projects on an annual basis including his "If Cocaine Could Talk" series and the "Leatherface" mixtapes.
Before Fame
Under the stage name Reign Man, he gained recognition in the early 2000s and played a key role in the battle rap scene. He also released several albums under his music label Educated Ignorance Music Group including his homages to late rappers Big L and Prodigy.
Trivia
He achieved recognition from hip-hop veterans Black Thought and Lord Jamar with his freestyle series, "Murder in Less than 60 Seconds." In 2019, he was chosen to join Benny the Butcher's musical group Black Soprano Family.
Family Life
He paid a tribute to his late mother with the single "Momma I Made It," which was featured on his LP, "Beautiful Payne 4."
