Also known as 'The Whistler,' Stemmons is famous as one of only a handful of internationally recognized, highly skilled whistlers. For just under a decade, he displayed his unique talent in Cirque du Soleil's traveling production of Corteo.
He started whistling at the age of five and, after hearing the famous whistler Fred Lowery at a 1969 live concert, decided to perfect his own skill as a whistler.
He was mentored by the world famous whistler Ronnie Ronalde.
He was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He and British singer Roger Whittaker both became known for their advanced whistling ability.
